Cascade joins Hospice Quality Partnership framework

Leeds-based HR and payroll technology provider Cascade has been appointed to the Hospice Quality Partnership (HQP) framework.

Cascade joins Hospice Quality Partnership framework

"Recognising the crucial role that hospices play in our society, we were keen to work with the HQP to make our system and services even more affordable to members."
Jayne Clarke

The move is designed to provide HQP members with greater accessibility to the technology and knowledge they need to maximise the value of their most important asset – their human capital.

Member hospices throughout the country can now benefit from a license fee saving of up to 30% plus free use of Cascade’s HR system for volunteers and contract staff. Regular networking events with other hospices in the HQP partnership will also encourage the sharing of HR software processes, usage ideas and best practice throughout the sector.

Commenting on the company’s eagerness to work with the HQP, Cascade’s commercial director Jayne Clarke said: “Recognising the crucial role that hospices play in our society, we were keen to work with the HQP to make our system and services even more affordable to members. These are organisations that pride themselves on engaging, developing and retaining their workforces, so we know they can benefit greatly from implementing intuitive, easy-to-use and people-focused technology to help them with this goal.

“The HR landscape is also constantly changing, not least from a legislative perspective. So, at the same time as maximising the potential of every employee, our HR software exists to provide peace of mind compliance too.” Cascade was one of 17 HR software vendors to tender for the framework status and is one of only two to be appointed.

Explaining why he thinks the solution was chosen, product director Paul Sparkes added: “The very essence of our technology is to streamline administrative workloads and free up HR time to focus on what really matters – people. The software is already used by hospices and other not-for-profits throughout the UK so we look forward to helping more of these organisations fulfil the potential of their staff.”

The HQP is a social enterprise established to help UK hospices reduce costs, add value and save time.
