Display Technology Ltd are delighted to announce the acquisition of Display Solutions and Components Bureau. As the UK subsidiary of Fortec Elektronik AG, a public listed German company with a turnover of €80,000,000, this is the latest step taken by Display Technology Ltd in their mission to grow as market leaders.
Display Technology Ltd are renowned for supplying high-performance industrial screens and monitors and this is why we have chosen to work alongside the dedicated team of experts at Components Bureau (CBL). Founded in 1985 and with more than 3 decades of industry experience, Components Bureau are specialists in outsourced manufacturing and electronic component distribution. The now globally recognised corporation started as passive component distributors and have since launched their own range of fully custom transformers. Just like Display Technology Ltd, Components Bureau are proud to provide the highest level of customer service, developing lasting relationships with customers through knowledge and expertise.
Display Technology have also purchased Display Solutions (DSL), electronics experts who are leaders in the provision of total solutions, delivering the latest technical innovations in displays and embedded computing. Since 1996, the company has gone from strength to strength and now work in a variety of different markets from industrial to medical, offering solutions from component to full turnkey.
Both Components Bureau and Display Solutions will operate from the Osprey House base in Cambridgeshire. Both companies will continue to prosper under the supervision of founder Cheng M Yoe who plans to work closely with Richard Murton (DTL Managing Director) and Bernhard Staller (COO Fortec Elektronik AG). The team hope to bring DTL and DSL together in order to create a synergy of products whilst simultaneously strengthening the group’s position in the UK electronics market.
Components Bureau will look to expand their Precision range of wound components in Europe in the coming months whilst Display Solutions will benefit from Fortec’s Distec’s technical expertise in services such as optical bonding and the large inventory of displays providing an ex-stock delivery.
