Systal signals growth plans with two strategic hires

Systal Technology Solutions has announced two new strategic hires as part of its ambitious growth plan.

John Bidgood joins as Chief Technology Officer from IBM.  He brings over two decades of Global sales and service delivery expertise across areas including hybrid cloud, the Internet of Things (IoT), software defined networking and network virtualisation. He will apply this experience in developing high-value business at Systal, where he will be specifically responsible for developing IT strategies and services for large scale, corporate organisations.

Linda Anderson has also been recruited to the position of Marketing Manager, in charge of Systal’s full portfolio of online and offline marketing activities.

Systal Technology Solutions has enjoyed a run of high-profile projects and client wins in recent months, including a large unification and integration project for a global organisation.

In January of this year, the company created 30 new highly-skilled jobs in its growing incident management team at its Glasgow head office, a response to increased demand for onshore rather than offshore incident response functions.

Bidgood’s and Anderson’s appointments are part of broader growth plans, as the firm seeks to consolidate its recent successes and expand its enterprise cloud offerings.

"Were very excited to welcome both John and Linda to Systal. Systal is an extremely ambitious business, keen to not only grow but also to respond to our customers needs and objectives"
Douglas Cumming, Director of Systal
