“The last year has just flown by and we’ve achieved so much – we can’t wait to build on this success and I’m really excited about what we can achieve in the future as we look to extend our range of products and services to an even wider audience.”
Since forming in April 2016, SAT has launched the world’s first IVV Diamond-accredited defensive driver education programme specifically for electric vehicles, formed a partnership with Australian technology company JESI Management Solutions which sees SAT supplying JESI journey management software to companies across the UK and Europe, and been appointed as a supplier of training to oil giant Shell in Qatar. In recent weeks, SAT has also set up a partnership with Trakm8, a data company specialising in telematics and fleet management solutions, which will see SAT share its wealth of experience and knowledge in areas such as driver training, journey management software and route planning, and help its customers increase productivity and reduce overheads by offering Trakm8 products such as vehicle cameras and route optimisation software.
“We’re delighted to win this award and proud to play our part in supporting the government’s Northern Powerhouse concept,” Paul added. “It’s vital that the North-South economic imbalance is redressed, and marking and celebrating the achievements of thriving businesses with awards such as these is a massive boost to reinforcing that message and attracting crucial investment into northern cities.”
