Koleda Launch Indiegogo Funding Round for Revolutionary Radiator

"Our unique patented technology, along with numerous smart home features, will revolutionise and modernise the way we all think about heating, whilst drastically cutting bills"
Maxim Interbrick, CEO of Koleda

Heating specialist Koleda today announce the start of their Indiegogo round centered around their SOLUS+ radiator.

The funding round is centered around their revolutionary home heating device, the SOLUS+, which will feature intuitive smart home technology which enables users to not only control individual units, but let them measure their energy consumption per room as well.

With an incredibly strong senior team, headed up by serial tech entrepreneur Maxim Interbrick, and years of research and development; the SOLUS+ has been designed from the ground up in Geneva, and will be built and assembled in Europe.

With each device containing Koleda’s patent-pending heating compound, it means that each SOLUS+ can heat quickly and cost-effectively, whilst maintaining its eco-friendly credentials.

The money raised from their Indiegogo will go towards automating their European manufacturing process, as well as their expansion across global markets, including the UK, Europe and North America.

The SOLUS+ has a total thickness of only 10mm, and weighs just 4.5kg, thanks to its construction from lightweight tempered glass. This means the device is sleeker and more elegant than traditional radiators, which often become an eyesore in many homes. It’s ‘plug and play’ set up also means that this device is versatile and can move alongside an individual, as it can be used in virtually any property in a matter of minutes.

The SOLUS+ has already gained TÜV Nord accreditation and is IP44 rated, meaning it is approved for sale across Europe and beyond, and is cleared for use in areas with high humidity and water exposure like bathrooms and WCs.

Co-Founder and CEO of Koleda, Maxim Interbrick said: “Many homes still rely on traditional radiators that have been in place for decades, with some older homes even having their heating date back to the 1800s. Our unique patented technology, along with numerous smart home features, will revolutionise and modernise the way we all think about heating, whilst drastically cutting bills.”

The SOLUS is currently available for pre-order through Indiegogo, with an RRP of £300/€350. The target for funding is €50,000, the Indiegogo closes on 4th of June.
