Figolux, one of the UK’s leading creators of dynamic visual content, is inviting visitors attending an upcoming retail exhibition to bring their products along to be photographed in order to demonstrate the latest, cutting-edge, image technology available to online retailers.

The South West-based company will be displaying its innovative image creation solutions on stand F10 at the Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) at Birmingham’s NEC between 21-22 March.

The Internet Retailing Expo is the UK’s largest meeting space for multichannel retail professionals. Exhibiting for a second year running, Figolux is inviting attendees who have unique or interesting products as well as a need for high-level product photography, whether for use in brochures or online platforms, to come along and see their items ‘brought to life’ on-screen.

Specialising in high-quality still and moving images that can be used across smartphone and web platforms, Figolux uses the latest technologies, including a range of innovative PhotoRobot devices, to enable Figolux to capture 360-degree product imagery with ease.

Owner and company director at Figolux, Andrew McLean Brown, said:

“At Figolux, we believe that, as well as making products look good, imagery should enable people to understand a product’s form and function.

“We felt that there was a niche in the photography and videography market for a studio which created easy to use, interactive content for brands which allows potential customers to really engage with products while shopping online. This is why we founded Figolux.

“Almost 51% of all purchases are now made online so ensuring that customers have a good digital shopping experience is now more important than ever to brands.

“Imagery is key to the viewing experience. Investing in good imagery that is truly representative of your product can help to maximise sales, minimise returns and reduce costs.”

In the last 2 years, Figolux has invested over £250,000 in a range of state-of-the-art equipment and lighting. The studio’s most recent investment, a £10,000 PhotoRobot ‘Case’ portable workstation will be on display at the IRX exhibition in March.

“Our PhotoRobot Case gives us the freedom to produce 360-degree images away from the studio, on location at our customers’ sites,” Andrew explained.

“The equipment is incredibly compact, with the whole workstation folding down into one large case, hence its name! It is quick and easy to set up and doesn’t take up a lot of space, we can comfortably work with the equipment set up in a space no bigger than a standard double bed.”

Figolux will be providing live demonstrations of the Case equipment throughout the two-day exhibition. Founded in 2014, the company provides brands with creative solutions to their visual marketing and ecommerce needs.
